Before having your radiators fitted you will need to decide the type, style and finish of your radiator valves. You can opt for standard white capped lockshield sets which are the most popular for steel panel radiators. All you will need to consider is whether you want

angled or inline radiator valves

. Your installer should be able to help you decide however essentially if your pipework is coming from your wall you would tend to go for angled valves and if it is coming from the floor you would choose inline valves. The assumption made here is that the pipe inlet for your radiators is from the bottom. These valves are usually manually controlled however for just a few pounds more you can buy

thermostatic valves which control the heat output of a radiator

by regulating the flow rate of hot water into it depending on the setting of the thermostat and the temperature of the room in which it is fitted. We offer valves from Hudson Reed, Phoenix, Honeywell, Reina, Zehnder, Bisque, Carisa amongst many more brands.
