Franke Ceramic sinks are made of liquid ceramic (quartz, kaolin and china clay) which is then fired at a very high temperature for 20 hours in a tunnel furnace. This process helps manufacture a tremendously hard-wearing sink which is scratch-resistant, heat-proof and resistant to bleach and acid.

All you need is water and a damp cloth like a Franke Microfiber Cloth to clean your Franke Ceramic Sink. Quick and Easy way to remove watermarks, grease or soap scum deposits is by using Franke Color Sink Cleaner or by using a proprietary bathroom cleaner such as Ajax or Flash liquid spray.

Make sure you drill a Tap hole from the Top Face

  • Decide on the pre-punched tap holes you need.
  • Measure to locate the centre of the required pre-punched tap hole and cover the area with masking tape.
  • Crack the glaze from the centre of the required hole using a centre punch.
  • With the use of No.8 Masonry drill, carefully drill a small pilot hole from the top. Only one small hole is required.
  • Now enlarge the hole to the required size with your hammer and centre punch.
